Avoncroft Museum of Historic Buildings
About Avoncroft Museum of Historic Buildings
Established in 1963 and opened in 1967, the gallery was considered after the disassembling of a fifteenth century timber-confined house in Bromsgrove in 1962 to give an area to its recreation. Avoncroft Museum of Historic Buildings is an outside exhibition hall of protected structures which have been moved to its site in Stoke Heath, a locale of Bromsgrove, Worcestershire, England. It turned into England's first outdoors historical center and the second in the United Kingdom.
This building is known as the medieval 'Town House' today, however it has been known by different names previously, including the 'Bromsgrove House' and the 'Vendor's House'. It now houses an accumulation of local, modern, horticultural and different types of notable building, the larger part disassembled and re-raised.
