About Auckland Castle

Auckland Castle, otherwise called Auckland Palace and locally as the Bishop's Castle or Bishop's Palace, is situated in Bishop Auckland, its neighboring town in County Durham, England. Worked by the Church of England for the ruler religious administrator of Durham for over 800 years, Auckland Castle was initially settled as a chasing lodge.
