About Abbey House Museum
Abbey House Museum in Kirkstall is famous for its history which is situated in Leeds, West Yorkshire, England is housed in the gatehouse of the destroyed Kirkstall Abbey, and it is a Grade II recorded building.
The house is 4.8 km North West of Leeds downtown area on the A65 street.
In July 1927 the recorded abbey museum was opened, the ground floor of the museum is set out as a region of Victorian streets, showing a scope of shops and benefits and including unique shop fittings and so on.
Upstairs displays include the historical feature of Kirkstall Abbey, Childhood, and Leeds Social History, and additionally exhibitions.
