Odessa Archeological Museum

The Odessa Archeological Museum is one of the most seasoned archeological exhibition halls in Ukraine.

It was established in 1825, the present historical center building was finished in 1883.Since 1997, the Odessa Archeological Museum has worked as a historical center as well as a foundation for logical research into the archaic exploration of a crude society in the Northern Black Sea locale and the prehistoric studies of the Middle Ages.

The exhibition hall conducts pieces, rebuilding efforts and distributing exercises.The historical centers have an accumulation size of more than 160,000: archeological finds from the northern Black Sea district, the biggest gathering in Ukraine of Ancient Egyptian sarcophagi, stone sections with hieroglyphics and pieces of papyrus, Ancient Greek and Ancient Roman displays.
