Melitopol

Melitopol is a city in Zaporizhia Oblast of southeastern Ukraine. It is located at the Molochna River that flows through the eastern fringe of the town and into the Molochnyi Liman, which in the end joins the Sea of Azov. Melitopol is integrated as a city of oblast significance and is the second one largest town in the oblast after Zaporizhia. It serves because the place of business of Melitopol Raion, although it does no longer belong to the raion. An electrified railway line of global importance is going thru Melitopol.
