M. F. Sumtsov Kharkiv Historical Museum

The M. F. Sumtsov Kharkiv Historical Museum is a history museum positioned in Kharkiv, Ukraine. Its devoted to history and subculture of Ukraine and ethnicities residing right here. The museum become set up in 1920 through Mykola Sumtsov, ukrainian ethnographers, historians and museology professional. It were given the satisfactory collections from Kharkiv University Museum and the city Art and Industry Museum. The series of Kharkiv University Museum started out to build up in 1804. Its gadgets were used for college kids teaching. This series was one of the first museum collections in Ukraine.

The metropolis Art and Industry Museum become founded in 1886. Its ethnographic collection was one among the largest and great amongst all metropolis museums in Russian Empire. In 1902 the nationwide Archaeological Congress turned into held in Kharkiv. A massive preceding search paintings turned into carried out.
