About Chervonohrad
Chervonohrad is a mining town positioned in Lviv Oblast of western Ukraine. Chervonohrad is exact as a city of oblast significance. It lies about 62 km north of Lviv, 7 km from Sokal, 28 km northeast of the metropolis of Voroniv, and has a populace of 67,492. The municipality of Chervonohrad also consists of the city of Sosnivka and the urban kind settlement of Hirnyk. The metropolis become part of the Polish Kingdom in the Polish-Lithuanian Commonwealth for the reason that its foundation in 1692 till 1772, whilst it became incorporated into the Habsburg Empire.
During the interwar period, it belonged to the Second Polish Republic, and among 1945 and 1951 changed into part of the Polish People's Republic. It surpassed from Poland to the Ukrainian SSR after the territorial alternate in 1951 and had its call changed to Chervonohrad. In May 1685, the Crown hetman and Krakow Voivode Feliks Kazimierz Potocki bought land along the Bug River. In 1692, he based a town at the lands of the village "Novyi Dvir" and named it "Krystynopol" after his spouse Krystyna Lubomirska. Potocki made the city his circle of relatives center.
