About Victory Museum
The museum is in Afyonkarahisar City Centre, located at a prime vicinity throughout Afyonkarahisar Fort and Victory Monument. This two-storey constructing became built via Saitoglu Mehmet Sait Efendi in pre-Republican period between 1915 and 1920. It contains the general traits of Neoclassical architecture. Its making plans is a traditional Anatolian house. It was used as the Afyon Municipal Council building until the new Council building built in 1930. After the construction of the present Council building, it became allotted to the Police Department. In 1985, with the aid of the National Estates Department, it changed into transferred to the Historic National Parks Directorate to be used as Victory Museum.
