Mesudiye

Mesudiye, previously Hamidiye, is a metropolis and district of Ordu Province inside the Black Sea area of Turkey. According to the 2000 census, population of the district is 28,551 of which 5,665 stay inside the city of Mesudiye. The district covers an area of 1100 km2, and the town lies at an elevation of 1,308 m. Mesudiye is a huge region of hilly nation-state, villages and pasture some distance inland from the Black Sea coast, south-west of the metropolis of Ordu, in the path of Sivas.
