About Luleburgaz
Luleburgaz is a town and locale of Kirklareli Province in the Marmara district of Turkey. The antiquated name of the city was Bergula; Emperor Theodosius I transformed it to Arcadiopolis to pay tribute to his child and successor Arcadius. The city of Arcadiopolis tumbled to Attila the Hun amid his crusade against the Eastern Roman Empire in 443 AD. The Battle of Arcadiopolis 970 saw Byzantine powers vanquish an attacking Kievan- Pecheneg- Magyar power who were meaning to catch Constantinople, 100 miles or 161 kilometers toward the east.
The Battle of Lule Burgas 1912 was here in the First Balkan War. As the capital of the Roman region of Europa it had its very own religious administrator, who was noted to ious vital church committees and was noted as an autocephalous archbishopric by the 7th century. It is never again a private ministerial office, in spite of the fact that the Diocese of Arcadiopolis makes due as a Roman Catholic main see. In 2007, a ladies' football club, the Duvenciler Lisesispor was established, which played in the Turkish Women's First Football League after advancement from the Second League. The group changed its name to Luleburgaz 39 Spor and hues from yellow-dark to red-green in 2011. The club finished its support in the group in the 2013-14 season.
