About Koycegiz
Koycegiz is a city and district of Mugla Province within the Aegean vicinity of Turkey. The town of Koycegiz lies at the northern cease of a lake of the same call that's joined to the Mediterranean Sea by way of a natural channel called Dalyan Delta. Its particular environment is being preserved as a nature and natural world sanctuary, the Koycegiz-Dalyan Special Environmental Protection Area. A avenue shaded with bushes leads to the township that carries the identical call because the river, Dalyan, that's situated at the inland waterway and is -administratively- part of the neighboring district of Ortaca.
Dalyan is rather popular with traffic and its maze of channels is explored via boat. The restaurants which line the waterways concentrate on fresh fish. High on the cliff face, at a bend in the river, above the ancient harbor city of Caunos, tombs have been carved into the rocks. The Dalyan Delta, with an extended, golden sandy seashore at its mouth, is a nature conservation place and a refuge for uncommon loggerhead sea turtles and blue crabs.
