Kneading for Good in a Traditional Village in Dat?a, Turkey
About Kneading for Good in a Traditional Village in Dat?a, Turkey
The Data Peninsula at the western region of Turkey is a set of ethnically rich villages that carry the same magnetic effect as the ruins of Cnidos lying close. The village folks have found out a fine way to garner tourism by promoting a local bread making process in tandem with the direct involvement of the travellers. This initiative is called the Village Bread Baking Process under which the travellers work with the hosting families in baking bread in the typically local style- kneading the wheat, the heat stone ovens and participating in the community lunch party afterwards.
