Kalkandere

Kalkandere is a town and region of Rize Province operating at a profit Sea locale of Turkey, west of the city of Rize. Formerly known as Karadere, this is an uneven, forested, rustic region of scattered towns, inland from the Black Sea drift. There is minimal level land and this is a devastated region losing its populace as they relocate away to occupations in different parts of Turkey or abroad. The neighborhood economy relies upon developing tea on the slopes.

90% of the agrarian land is tea ranches and there are tea handling plants in the town. Tea was planted during the 1950s and has conveyed new life to the territory.
