About Hayrabolu
Hayrabolu is a town and locale of Tekirdag Province in the Marmara area of Turkey. The Marmara Region is a geological district of Turkey. Located in northwestern Turkey, it is flanked by Greece and the Aegean Sea toward the west, Bulgaria and the Black Sea toward the north, the Black Sea Region toward the east, the Central Anatolia Region toward the southeast and the Aegean Region toward the south. At the focal point of the district is the Sea of Marmara, which gives the area its name. Among the seven topographical locales, the Marmara Region has the second-littlest zone, yet the biggest populace; it is the most thickly populated district in the nation.
Hayrabolu is one of the most established settled zones of Thrace. Its old name was "Chariupolis". Turks originally vanquished it in 1357, it was before long reclaimed by the Byzantines. In 1368, amid the time of Sultan Murad I, it was vanquished for the second and the last time. Families browsed distinctive areas of Anatolia, particularly from Kayseri and Sivas, were settled in and around Hayrabolu, the name of which was changed first to Hayrı-bol lastly to Hayrabolu. Today Hayrabolu is a little market town serving the wide open around it. There is an army installation here. There is a Romani people group of long standing.
