Hakkari

Hakkari is a city and the capital of the Hakkari Province of Turkey. It is found a couple of kilometers from the Iraq-Turkey outskirt. The name Hakkari is gotten from the Syriac word Akkare which means agriculturists or cultivators. Akkare itself is gotten from Akkadian ikkaru.
