About Gulnar
Gulnar is a district of Mersin Province of Turkey, 150 km or 93 mi south-west of the city of Mersin. The territory has been involved since the season of the Hittites, and was later settled by the Assyrians, Persians, Egyptians, the Greeks and later the Ancient Romans. The general population of Gulnar today are descendents of the Turkmen clans that came here from Central Asia in the 13th century. The town of Gulnar is 32 km or 20 mi inland on a plain high in the Taurus Mountains, appealing farmland known for its vineyards and its green knolls utilized for summer touching. Gulnar is a residential community giving secondary schools and other essential conveniences to the encompassing villages.
The street from focal Anatolia to Anamur on the Mediterranean drift goes through here, one of the windiest streets possible, making Gulnar a remote area for sure. The land zone of Gulnar is 1,669 km² of which 351.1 km² is developed, 848.09 km² is forested slope, 1.3 km² is high knoll, and 468.51 km² is rough mountains. A significant part of the developed region is vineyards, other imperative harvests are grains and chick peas. The high glades are utilized for summer brushing.
