About Gorele
Gorele is a town and a region of Giresun Province on the Black Sea shoreline of eastern Turkey. The populace was 16,033 of every 2010. There was a Genoese exchanging post here and the remains of their chateau is 20 km east of the town of Gorele today. Chepni Turks arrived Gorele from Khorasan in the early long stretches of the 13th/ 14th century. As the mansion of Kordyle, this was one of the last Christian stations to tumble to Sultan Mehmet II after he vanquished the Empire of Trebizond in 1461.
As indicated by Pontic melodies, it was shielded against the Sultan's trooper by a worker young lady until the point that she ended her life by tossing herself from a window. As indicated by William Miller, the window could in any case be seen up to the Crimean War. From 1878 to 1922, it was a piece of Ottoman Trebizond Vilayet. Amid republic period, it turned into a piece of recently established Giresun territory. Gorele, similar to whatever is left of this drift was possessed by Russian troops for a long time amid the First World War.
