About Gedik Ahmet Pasa Imaret Cami

The Grand Vizier Gedik Ahmet Pasha had the architect Ayaz Aza built in 1472. Therefore, it's also called Gedik Ahmet Pasha Mosque. Its embroideries are Abdüssamedoulu Hasan. The mosque become restored through Muftfzade Ahmet in 1795. In opposite T format, the 2 domes are deliberate. The ultimate congregation within the north is protected with 6 spherical columns, 5 pointed arches and five octagonal pulleys. The minaret with a single balconies is decorated with grooved torsion forms. The grooves are protected with army blue tiles. The entrance door is product of engraved marble.
