About Eskisehir Aviation Museum

Eskisehir Aviation Museum, otherwise called Eskisehir Aviation Park, is an outside exhibition hall in Eskisehir, Turkey for common and military flight. Set up in 1997, it is worked by Anadolu University. The historical center is situated on the Bursa-Ankara expressway D-200 over the Yunusemre Campus of Anadolu University covering a region of 39,000 m². In expansion to the different regular citizen and military flying machine showed in the outdoors area, it highlights flight suits, pilot identifications, air ship mockups and air ship motors showed in an exhibition hall building.

The Governorship of Eskisehir Province and the Turkish Air Force first Tactical Air Force Command, or, in other words Eskisehir, met up for the foundation of a flying historical center. Eleven surrendered or resigned warrior, observation and load flying machine were given to the exhibition hall. The inside of a C-47 freight flying machine was orchestrated as a cafeteria. The outside historical center was initiated on December 16, 1997, and at first worked by an establishment. On May 28, 1999, the exhibition hall building was opened. Subsequent to shutting of the establishment, the gallery was left to the Turkish Air Force on February 1, 2006. Anadolu University assumed control over the office from the Turkish Air Force on September 22, 2011. Following upkeep and reclamation works, it was revived in September 2012 in the status of an "Avionics Park".
