Emirdag

Emirdag is a town and locale of Afyonkarahisar Province in Turkey, between the city of Afyon and Eskisehir. The locale covers a region of 2,009 km², and the populace 2014 is 38,269 of which 19,093 live in the town of Emirdag. The chairman is Cengiz Pala AKP. The Emir Mountains rise steeply behind the town. The district is powerless against earthquakes. Amid the Hellenistic time the name of Emirdag was Amorion.

After the Arab triumphs of Anatolia the city ended up known as Ammuriye by Arab-Islamic sources. The Ottomans called the settlement Hergen Kale, which alludes to the old city outside the town. After 17^th century, the city was named as Muslucali because of relocations of Turkmens from Mosul and Rakka. This is as yet a common Turkish nation town and very traditionalist, the tea-gardens are isolated into regions for families and single men. There are some essential eateries and web bistros.
