About Butterfly Valley
Butterfly Valley is a valley in Fethiye district of Mugla Province, southwestern Turkey, that's domestic to diverse butterfly species. The valley is located on the foothill of Babadag, a 1,975-metre-excessive mountain nominated for upkeep as global history. A wide-strip sand seashore at a bay on the Turkish Riviera protrudes from the valley. In the shape of a narrow canyon stretching over around three–four km, the valley's steep walls are 350–400 m high. A path in the valley leads to small waterfalls dropping from 60 m all the year around. In the middle of the valley, a creek runs, sporting water from a spring in close by Faralya village to the ocean.
A street from Oludeniz to Uzunyurt, that's a part of the Lycian Way Ultramarathon path, runs atop the rocks around the valley. Due to its natural splendor, Butterfly Valley is an important ecotourism attraction region in Turkey. It is available by travel boat service from Belcegiz Beach of Oludeniz in 5–7 km distance, running hourly at sunlight hours. In the valley, diverse out of doors activities such as tenting, hiking, canyoning, canoeing and scuba diving may be executed. The valley is open to public the entire year. During July and August, round 200 traffic camp every day inside the valley.
