About Burhaniye
Burhaniye is a beach front town and region of Balıkesir Province in the Aegean area of Turkey. The locale is situated on the Aegean drift and is known for its olive oil. Burhaniye has a port and a gallery of archaic exploration. A historical center for the Turkish National Movement was introduced in 2008 under the name Burhaniye Kuvay-i Milliye Muzesi. A biennial celebration, oren Tourism and Art Festival, is sorted out in July. Burhaniye was established as Taylieli town, named after one of the Turkish beys who went to the guide of Seljuk ruler Suleyman.
Toward the start of the 14th century it went under the area of the Karasids and developed as it pulled in transients. In Ottoman occasions, it was otherwise called Kemer and appended to Edremit until 1866 and turned into the focal point of a locale named after itself. It was renamed Burhaniye after the Ottoman Prince Sehzade Burhanettin. On 29 June 1920, it was involved by the Greek armed force, who set fire to the town and demolished the town's principle mosque before withdrawing.
On 8 June 1922 the town was liberated from Greek occupation. As the Greeks were withdrawing they proposed to consume and decimate the town focus, anyway this was kept by Borazan cavus from Pelitkoy, who got on a minaret and when he saw the Greek adversary units drawing closer, played the assault tune on his Bugle.
