Agri Meteor Crater

Meteor Crater is a meteor gap made on the ground of Gulburak Village close to the Iranian outskirt. The hole was formed when a comet fell there in 1892. This meteor hole is world’s second largest meteor hole and an important tourist site in Turkey.

At the Turkish Military, gap is arranged and is open through individual vehicles or a taxi after confirmation on the check post

The meteor hole has a significance of 60 meters with an estimation of 35 meters. Its dividers contain a ton of jackdaws settles and are half loaded with earth and soil.
