Wat Prasat was built during the reign of King Narai the Great during the late Ayutthaya period. The Ubosot, or temple hall, gloats complex craftsmanship the upper part includes a perfect god riding a mythic feathered creature monster a Garuda, and the finial is enhanced in the Mon style, with an royal lion highlighted beside to the finial.
The purpose for the irregular state of the building is that the shape effectively enables cool air to supplant more sizzling air as it rises. The wall paintings here, beginning from the late Ayutthaya period, are crafted by the most regarded craftsmen in the territory.
The temple is located on the Bang Kruai-Sai Noi Road, Tambon Bang Krang. To arrive, if taking a watercraft, the temple can be achieved following a two-kilometer stroll through natural product plantations from the wharf.
The temple is open every day from 8.00 AM- 5.00 PM.
