About Wat Chiang Man
The Wat Chiang Man is the most settled asylum in Chiang Mai and retreats the separation to the building up of the city in 1296.
When King Mengrai made another city and make it the new capital of the Lanna Kingdom, he gather the Wat Chiang Man as the fundamental haven of the new city on the site he used to direct the advancement of Chiang Mai.
The asylum holds a couple of outstandingly old and basic Buddha pictures.
