The Thung Yai Naresuan Wildlife Sanctuary

The Thung Yai Naresuan Wildlife Sanctuary articulated is a secured region in Thailand in the northern piece of Kanchanaburi Province and the southern piece of Tak Province. It was pronounced an untamed life haven in 1972, and a World Heritage Site by UNESCO in 1991 together with the connecting Huai Kha Khaeng Wildlife Sanctuary. The haven is at the western national fringe of Thailand with Burma, in the southern region of the Dawna Range. The natural life haven extends over a region of around 369,000 hectares 3,690 square kilometers, and is the biggest ensured territory in Thailand.

Together with the abutting Huai Kha Khaeng Wildlife Sanctuary it comprises the center territory of the western woods complex, which speaks to the biggest agglomeration of adjacent ensured zone in terrain Southeast Asia. The territory is prevalently hilly and made out of different limestones blended with gigantic interruptions of stone and littler outcrops of quartzite and schist. The haven is bigger than the aggregate territory of Bangkok, or, in other words in size. There are 25 officer stations inside the asylum. Each station is relegated three guns, some inoperable. Asylum staff watch somewhere in the range of 12,000 km of woods ways, and another 10,000 km in the abutting Huai Kha Khaeng haven.
