About Pai
Pai is a small town in northern Thailand's Mae Hong Son Province, near the Myanmar border, about 146 km 91 mi northwest of Chiang Mai on the northern route to Mae Hong Son. It lies on the Pai River. The town has thesaban tambon status and spreads parts of the tambon Wiang Tai of Pai District. Starting at 2006, it had a populace of 2,284. Pai was previously a peaceful market town occupied by Shan individuals ethnic Tai whose culture is impacted by Myanmar some time ago called Burma. Today, Pai fundamentally flourishes with tourism. Understood among hikers for its casual climate, the town is brimming with shoddy guesthouses, trinket shops, and eateries.
In the environs of the town are spas and elephant camps. Promote outside of town, there are a few cascades and ious normal hot springs fluctuating in temperature from 27-39 °C 80– 200 °F. A few resorts tap the hot springs and feed boiling water into private cabins and open pools. Another remarkable fascination is the town's fantastic Wednesday Market which brings expansive and brilliant hordes of neighborhood villagers and ancestral individuals from all around the Pai Valley.
