About Lom Sak
Lom Sak is an area amphoe in the northern piece of Phetchabun Province, in northern Thailand. Lom Sak region goes back to the establishing of the Sukhothai Kingdom in the thirteenth century. The legislative leader of Mueang Rat Lom Sak, Pho Khun Pha Mueang, was one of Thai warlords who crushed the Khmer. At the point when Pho Khun Bang Klang Hao and a companion built up the Sukhothai Kingdom, he bolstered his companion to be the main ruler since his significant other was Khmer.
In 1767 in the rule of King Taksin the Great, Phraya Chakri the later King Rama I came back from his campaign to Vientiane through the territory of present-day Lom Kao District. A portion of the general population from Vientiane settled there. At the point when the new town developed greater, they moved their town to the plain close to the Pa Sak River and named the new town Lom Sak. Later other Lao from Vientiane, who were constrained by King Taksin to settle around Lopburi, returned and settled in Lom Sak. As indicated by the student of history Prince Damrong Rajanubhab the Mueang Lom Sak was set up in the rule of King Nangklao.
