About Grand Palace

The Grand Palace arranged in the old city of Bangkok on the banks of the Chao Phraya stream is one of the must see goals of Thailand. This complex is a champion among the most acclaimed memorable purposes of the country and offers grand structures and consecrated areas.
The Grand Palace is a superb complex of structures of magnificent significance. Advancement of the complex began in 1782 when King Rama I moved the capital of Thailand from Thonburi to a zone known as Rattanakosin island on the East side of the Chao Phraya conduit.
The complex is enveloped by 1,900 meters long dividers and houses among others Royal homes, the situation of specialist halls and the Temple of the Emerald Buddha. It housed the point of convergence of government and the Royal Court and transformed into the point of convergence of the Kingdom.
