About Tukuyu
Tukuyu, called Neu Langenburg all through the German colonial rule, is a small hillside metropolis that lies approximately 36 miles south of the metropolis of Mbeya, at an elevation of around five,000 toes within the highland Rungwe District of southern Tanzania, East Africa. Tukuyu metropolis has a moderate to cool temperature starting from 10° C in May to June to mid 20°C in round November.
The city and surrounding areas are ever green all year spherical due the nearly year spherical convectional rains as a consequence of Lake Nyasa. In 1891 Lutheran and Moravian Christian missionaries began to work on this area, aiming to transform the nearby populace to their religion. "German management on the north quit of Lake Nyasa was set up in January 1893, some eighteen months after the appearance of the first German missionaries. The new management arrived within the shape of a celebration led by Hermann von Wissman, Imperial Commissioner and Commander-in-Chief, with orders to take possession of the territory inside the south of German East Africa secured under the terms of the Anglo-German Agreement of 1890."
