About Kaohsiung Museum of Fine Arts
The Kaohsiung Museum of Fine Arts is situated in Gushan District, Kaohsiung, Taiwan. It was established by the Kaohsiung City Government and has been administrated by the Kaohsiung Bureau of Cultural Affairs since 2003. It possesses around 8.15 sections of land 33,000 m2 and began in 1994. It is the third open expressions gallery in Taiwan, after the National Taiwan Museum of Fine Arts and the Taipei Fine Arts Museum. The exhibition hall is a piece of the Neiweipi Cultural Park which possesses around 40 hectares. The principal phase of Neiweipi Cultural Park's development begun in 1989 and was finished in 1994.
Amid this stage, the Kaohsiung Museum of Fine Arts was finished. Later further improvements were made to the passage square, design stop, and biology park.
