About Chimei Museum

The Chimei Museum is a private historical center set up in 1992 by the Chi Mei Corporation in Rende District, Tainan, Taiwan. The historical center's accumulation is isolated into five classifications: Western Art counting painting, form, brightening expressions and period furniture; Musical instruments; Natural history; Arms and protective layer; Antiquities and ancient rarities. The historical center is known for having one of the biggest accumulations of violins on the planet, and furthermore for its huge accumulations of antiquated weapons and Western works of art and models. The gallery has a few display zones, including workmanship, characteristic history, memorable weapons, melodic instruments, antiquated items, models and mechanical strategies.
The historical center has a gathering of European works of art in the eighteenth and nineteenth century, displaying the advancement of western craftsmanship.
