About Zug
Zug is an affluent municipality and town in Switzerland Zug is derived from the fishing terminology; In the Middle Ages, it is referred to as the right to pull fishing nets and therefore, for the right to fish. The city of Zug is located in Canton of Zug and is Canton's capital. As of December 31, 2017, its total population was 30,205. The official language of the Jug Swiss variety of standard is German, but the main spoken language is the local form of the Alemannic Swiss German dialect.
The earliest human trail is about 14,000 BC. Poleolithic has been found on the north bank of Lake Zug, which comes from nomad hunters and collectors. Archaeologists also are able to prove the existence of more than forty lake settlements stacked houses on the banks of lake lake from the era of first settlers in the Neolithic period 5,500-2,200 BC. The top of the settlements of these lake banks was between 3800 and 2450 BC.
For the same era, the first pre-alpine land has been used in Managing and in the Ogere Valley. The well-known, historically researched and interesting lake-side village, 'Sampaf’ Swamp, dates from the Bronze Age until 850 BC. These rich results come in the form of a very different picture of life in the past, have been represented in charming prehistory in the Jug museum. Apart from this, many traces of the Iron Age and Roman and Celtic-Roman times have been discovered.
