Worb
About Worb
Worb is a municipality in the Bern Mitteland Administrative District in Canton of Bern in Switzerland. The oldest sculptures of settlements in this area include the Neolithic artifacts, the Mustang Tomb of Bochliwald and a La Terne Cemetery in Rohermo-Stokarnen. Other prehistoric graves have been found in Gschneitwald. The Roman property of the second and third centuries and a Roman tomb has also been discovered. There was a small settlement during the early Middle Ages, in which there was a cemetery in Willebringen.
Freihiro de Vervo was first mentioned in 1127, some years before the record was recorded in the village. By the second half of the 13th century, Freheror von Kean was found in the heritage of the village, the land and the Verb Castle. The family ruled on Verg Hershech until 1336 when they became citizens of Bern and the area came under the authority of Barnes. In the following centuries, many Bernice noble families ruled and divided the land and rebuilt the Hersheych.
The owner of the village and Herachchaft organized the rights of the zwing and ban and the court. There was a high court in Konolfing. The fight started in 1469 between the representatives of the Bernice-appointed court and Verb's bail. It took two years to settle the rights and jurisdiction of both the posts.
