About Town Church
The Town Church, Thun is the reformed main church of the city Thun, canton Bern, Switzerland. While the tower was around 1330 and was freshened around 1430, the church was a new building designed by Paulus Nader in 1738. In the Middle Ages, there was a church dedicated to St. Maurice, in which a Gothir choir was born until the 13th. Century can be traced in the 16th century, and traces of other predecessors can be traced back in the 10th century.
The late Baroque Preaching Hall has been decorated with plaster work by Daniel Hague. Communication table in Renaissance style is from 1602, Daniel Gintzy's pulse of 1661. Apart from this, Johann August Nahal Elder made Epitaph for 17th year as a value for Shulthasin Beat Ludwig May. The organ builder was created by Metzler Dietikon in 1950, and expanded in 1994.
