About Rietberg Museum

A Neoclassical estate displayed on the Villa Albani in Rome it's said to be a precise houses the remarkable gathering of Baron Eduard von der Heydt. The estate was worked in 1857 for a German industrialist and was a gathering place for Zürich scholarly people.

It is historical center of non-European workmanship, with accumulations that incorporate Indian figure, Tibetan sanctuary pictures and bronzes, Chinese grave designs, Buddhist stele, and Asian pottery and jade.

The estate sits in wonderful Rieter Park, an English scene cultivate with strolling ways.There are likewise expressions from the Pacific, the Near East, and North America, alongside an accumulation of African carvings, covers, and bronzes.
