About The Matterhorn

Standing 4478 meters high, Matterhorn is a gem of the Pennine Alps. It is not the highest mountain in Switzerland, but is considered as an iconic emblem of the region of the Swiss Alps. Matterhorn derives its name from the German word Matt-meaning meadow and Horn-meaning peak. Adventure freaks from over the world come here for mountaineering and climbing.
