On the valley floor from the Grund station, the Grindelwald– Männlichen gondola cableway will lift you up 1,300 meters to this mountain crest.

There are higher mountains in the region, however the excite of the excursion lies in the trip itself: The cableway is the third longest of its kind on the planet and on the 30-minute climb you'll have heaps of time to kick back and lounge in the great landscape.

In late-June the valley is flooded with wildflowers, and once you touch base at the summit you can wander around to the different posts around the pinnacle.

After that you could proceed to the town of Wengen on the opposite side of the pinnacle.

Or on the other hand, you may climb back towards Grindelwald and get back on the gondola mostly down.
