Lenzburg
About Lenzburg
Lenzburg is a city in the middle area of the Swiss Canton d'Aragon and is the capital of the district of Lenzburg. The city is situated in the Middle Ages, situated in the Seat Valley, and is about 3 kilometers away from Aarey River. Lenzburg and neighboring municipalities Niederlenz and Staufen have grown together in a group. Lenzberg was won in 1415 with the western part of present-day Aragon, by Berne, although Bern did not snatch the rights of his city. In 1433, the city of Bern bought the castle and used it to control the area from 1444 to 1798.
In 1491 a large fire devastated the city, only fifteen houses left. In 1528, the rest of the area was improved together, and in the 16th century, the economy gradually started changing from agriculture to a more industrial area. In the 18th century, Lenzburg developed as a center for cotton trading and processing. An Indienne textile factory was established in 1732. In 1798, the Republic of Helvetian was announced and Bernards was extinguished from Burn. The camp of Aragau was established and in 1803, Lenzburg became a district capital.
