The German Expressionist and individual from Die Brücke, Ernst-Ludwig Kirchner put over the most recent 20 years of his life in Davos.
He moved here in 1917 to fight a medication compulsion and inside a year was working once more, painting the scenes and individuals.
The gallery in his respect opened in the 1980s, in light of a gathering amassed by a nearby merchant.
In 1992 it moved into a smooth reason constructed display set in four glass blocks.
With more than 1,400 Kirchner artworks, it's the biggest gathering of his works on the planet and spreads the two his initial Expressionist days in Berlin, Munich and Dresden and his later Swiss years.
