About Burkliplatz and Lake

From the point where the Limmat streams from the lake, the Quaibrücke crosses the waterway to associate Bellevue Platz and Bürkliplatz, where you'll discover the arrival for lake steamers. From here, visitors can voyage on Lake Zurich to appreciate lovely perspectives to the Glarus Alps.

The whole shore is fixed with promenades and stops where nearby occupants get the sun, run, outing, and swim in the lake. Around 1.5 kilometers from Bellevueplatz is the excellent Zürichhorn Park, worked for the National Exhibition in 1939. Here,discover an eatery, a Chinese Garden, and a watercraft arrival for the Limmatschiff, which keeps running from Zürich's principle prepare station up the waterway to the lake, finishing at Zürihorn.

An expansive bug showcase is held each Saturday on Bürkliplatz from May until October with upwards of 500 merchants including collectibles merchants and diversion dealers.
