Bruno Weber Park
About Bruno Weber Park
Bruno Weber Park is a sculpture park inside the Swiss municipalities Spreitenbach and Dietikon, and besides the Fahr Abbey one of the visitor points of interest within the Limmat Valley. The sculpture lawn is designed as a Gesamtkunstwerk of the Swiss artist Bruno Weber. The park covers an area of 20,000 m and has been extended on the grounds of the previous property of Bruno Weber's parent. Over the years, it became decorated with dozens of columns, reliefs, heads and gargoyles.
A 12-metre-high tower at the entrance location and the property tower have been also built, being landmarks overlooking the Limmat Valley. The own family's estate became re-built in a "fairy-tale fort", with colorful mosaics and embellished animal sculptures. The Wassergarten changed into opened in May 2012 and is surrounded via 200-metre-long wing dogs forming a footbridge, which include a ballroom for activities to the west. A few years in the past, the ETH Zurich faculty prepared a feasibility look at, but it was still no longer realized.
