About S:ta Birgittas kloster Pax Mariae
The Abbey of Our Lady and of St. Bridget, extra normally called Vadstena Abbey, situated on Lake Vattern in the Diocese of Linkoping, Sweden, become the motherhouse of the Bridgettine Order. The abbey commenced on one of the farms donated to it via the king, but the city of Vadstena grew up around it. It turned into active from 1346 until 1595.
