Rosersberg

Rosersberg is a town in Sigtuna municipality which lies between Märsta and Upplands Väsby. Just outside the village is Rosersberg Castle , Anstalten Storboda , the Rescue School in Rosersberg. and a large industrial area with eg. logistics center, combi terminal and post terminal. In Rosersberg there are several residential areas, apartment areas, food court area, and an expansive logistics and industrial area. and plans are in place to expand with two new apartment areas with condominiums and rental apartments. Construction starts for the new apartments are expected in the next few years and will mean an almost doubling of Rosersberg's apartment stock. Rosersberg's castle was built by the Oxenstierna family between 1634 and 1638. Rosersberg's castle became royal in 1762 when it came into ownership of Karl XIII then Duke.
