Lulea

Lulea is a town at the coast of northern Sweden, and the capital of Norrbotten County, the northernmost county in Sweden. Lulea has approximately 75,000 population and is the seat of Lulea Municipality. Lulea has the 7th biggest harbor in Sweden for transport goods. It has a massive metal industry and is a middle for good sized studies. Lulea University of Technology is one of Sweden’s three era universities and the northernmost college in Sweden. The metropolis's Royal charter become granted in 1621 by King Gustavus Adolphus of Sweden. The original metropolis turned into located wherein Gammelstad is situated nowadays.

The city needed to be moved in 1649 to the present day web site, due to the post-glacial rebound that had made the bay too shallow for ships to go into. The Gammelstad Church Town is a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
