About Kungshuset
Kungshuset, which is also known by the name of "Lord's House", among locals, was worked by the Danish ruler Frederick II between 1578– 1584 and initially expected as the living arrangement for the minister of Lund.
A regularly related nearby legend has it that Lord Charles XII of Sweden, who lived in Lund for a period between crusades in the 1710s, rode up the wide wooden stairs in the pinnacle.
The house held the University Library in the mid-nineteenth century, however, was in an awful shape, with a spilling rooftop for example.
The teacher of Greek dialect at the time, Carl Georg Brunius, whose productive work as a novice modeler is seen in numerous trademark Lund structures, willingly volunteered to enhance the state of the building. Today, Kungshuset houses the Department of Philosophy.
