Kronoberg Castle Ruin

Kronoberg Castle is a medieval ruin placed on an island in lake Helgasjon, 5 kilometres north of the town of Vaxjo in Smaland, Sweden. Kronoberg County, wherein it is placed, was named after the fortress. In 1444 Lars Mikaelson, the bishop of Växjö, constructed a stone constructing at the lakeshore.
