About Hässleholm
Hassleholm is a locality and the seat of Hassleholm Municipality, Skane County, Sweden with 18,500 inhabitants in 2010. Hassleholm changed into step by step advanced from 1860 in reference to the development of the primary Stockholm to Malmo railway line. There was no agreement immediate before the appearance of the railway.
The station were given its name from a manor located inside the area of a planned railway junction. It received the city name in 1914 and became then classified as one of Sweden's smallest town. During the 20 th century it developed into a army hub. After the end of the bloodless battle, maximum of the navy institutions were disbanded or moved to different locations. In 2000, Hässleholm's Cultural Center was opened. It features theatres, a library, a traffic center, and restaurants. East of the city middle is the hometown park with a statue called "Snapphanen", by means of the sculptor Axel Ebbe. The statue reminds of the place's history as a middle for Scanian insurgents for the duration of the 17th-century struggles between Sweden and Denmark.
