The height of the slide is 168 feet 7 inches, higher than the Niagra Falls.

Verruckt is of the type "Freefall Master Blaster".

Riders on Verruckt attain a speed of up to 70 mph during a 17 story descent in an inflatable raft.

The momentum then pushes rider to ascend a 5 story high arc before letting them get out.

The ride lasts 10 seconds.
2. Kilimanjaro
- Kilimanjaro slide is located at Aguas Quentes Country Club in Barra Do Pirai, Brazil.
- The rider on Kilimanjaro drops through a height of 164 feet, the second highest in the world.
- This freefall body slide still holds the world record for being the tallest freefall body slide.
- During the fall, the riders accelerate to a speed of 60 mph.
- To achieve its height, Kilimanjaro is propped up on the side of a hill that also makes it safe for the riders.
- The slide had also held the record for the fastest travel before being dethroned by Verruckt.
3. Insano
- Insano was commissioned in 1989 on the beach of Fortaleza, Brazil.
- It used to be the highest ride before Kilimanjaro took over.
- It is possible to attain speeds of 65mph in a drop of 135 feet.
- It is still the tallest freestanding body slide in the world.
- Despite the height, due to the speed gained from a near vertical drop, it only takes about 4 seconds to complete the ride.
- The ride ends in a calm swimming pool after the horizontal deceleration lane.
4. Captain Spacemaker
- The ride is located at Aqualandia Water Park in Jesolo, Venezia, Italy.
- The drop at Captain Spacemaker is completed in a 4 person inflatable raft.
- Due to a 60 degree steep slope, the riders can achieve a speed of up to 62 mph.
- It is also known as the "slide of the VIPs" due to being visited by various celebrities for the excitement.
- The riders on Captain Spacemaker experience a 132 foot drop before ending in a swimming pool.
5. Summit Plummet
- Located in Orlando, FL, Summit Plummet is a major attraction at Walt Disney World's Blizzard Beach.
- This freefall body slide has a height of 120 feet.
- The riders of Summit Plummet can achieve high speeds of 55 mph.
- The ride commences atop a 12 story high mount gushmore and ends in a massive spray of whitewater.
- The riders go through a darkened tunnel for heightened excitement and a digital stop clock records the top speed.
- The ride has currently been closed for improvement.
6. VertiGo
- This waterslide is located in Aqualandia, Benidorm, Spain.
- This trap-door free-fall slide was opened in 2013 and is the tallest free-fall ride in Europe.
- VertiGo measures at 108.3 meters and has a trap door beginning.
- As the riders plummet through the trap door they attain high speeds of 60 mph.
- The slide is propped on the slide of a hill and the top gives an excellent view of Benidorm.
- The riders of this slide move down at a thrilling speed of 50 mph.
7. Jumeirah Sceirah
- This waterslide is located at Wild Wadi Waterpark in Dubai, UAE.
- Jumeirah Sceirah is a trap-door body slide with a height of 105 ft.
- On the way down, the sliders can achieve a speed of upto 50 mph.
- Earlier the slide used to have a 1 flume 3 drop course but now it has been redesigned to have 2 tunneled trap door flumes with 2 drops each.
- The slide begins from a 32 meter tower that provides an excellent view of the entire waterpark.
8. Stukas BOOM
- Stukas BOOM waterslide is at Caneva World Aqauapark.
- The waterpark is situated in Localita Fossalta at Lazsie, Italy.
- This Dual-trap-door freefall slide has a height of 105 feet.
- Those who get on the ride fall through the trapdoor, and travel with a speed of 50 mph.
- The ride ends in a calm pool.
9. Xpirado
- Xpirado is a body slide located at Hot Park in Rio Quente, State of Goias, Brazil.
- The slide has a height of 105 feet and the riders can achieve a speed of 50 mph.
- The ride features a helix that adds to the excitement, and a sloped drop concludes the ride.
10. King Khajuna
- King Khajuna is situated in Salou, Tarragona; Spain at PortAventura's Aquatic Park.
- This is the Freefall body slide with a height of 102 feet.
- Opened in May 2013, the slide owns the record for the tallest freefall slide.
- A steep slope of 55 degrees makes the visitors attain a speed of 6 meters a second.
