'Does size matter?'- well, this perennial question is enough to raise a whole lot of debate where points will be tossed and even dug out from some long lost graveyards. However, without going deeper into this highly ambiguous topic, lets confess, we have a fascination for the superlative- tallest, biggest, oldest and so on. When it comes to travel attractions, the tallest figures often catch the fancy of the travellers. So, today, we are bringing you some of the tallest statues in the world:

The statue of Unity is dedicated to the Iron Man of India, Shri Sardar Vallabhai Patel and according to Prime Minister Narendra Modi, “The Statue will stand high, not just in meters and feet, but much more in terms of academic, historical, national and spiritual values. My vision is to develop the place as a source of inspiration for ages to come”.
Located near the Narmada Dam in Gujarat, Statue of Unity is not only the tallest one in the world but also the one to be completed in the shortest time.
